Mary O’Brien, M.S., CCC-SLP/L is a speech-language pathologist who loves the positive impact she can make helping children and their families. Mary graduated, with honors, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Providence College in Rhode Island and a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. 

 

Mary has worked with children from ages 2 through high school in varied settings including schools, day cares, their homes and most recently through teletherapy.  Mary’s experience includes working with children individually and in groups with communication disorders including articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and pragmatic language disorders. 

 

Mary has vast experience in performing informal and formal assessments to create therapy plans and goals for students.   She believes that collaboration with classroom teachers, staff, and families is imperative to achieving progress towards these goals.  In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 kids, and new puppy!
